Based on the highly successful adult doujin(fan-made) game by a then unknown group called Type-Moon, Tsukihime follows the story of a young 2nd year high school student name Tohno Shiki as he is getting ready to return home after being sent away by his late father 8 years ago following an accident that left him two life changing situations. The 1st being he is now anemic and suffers from dizzy spells and chest pains. The 2nd change being he can now see lines throughout his whole vision that no one else can see; lines that if he were to trace with a knife would be dealt with death instantanously, no matter the object especially a vampire.
